KartmaX Roadmap: What's Coming in Jan–March 2026 🚀

As KartmaX is expanding its feature set to support storefronts in every way possible. So this quarter is focused on strengthening three pillars: discoverability, search intelligence, and Checkout performance.
Here's a preview of what's shaping up inside the platform.

1. Sitemap Intelligence – Smarter Crawl, Better Discovery

We're upgrading the way KartmaX generates and structures sitemaps.

What this upgrade unlocks:

  • Independent sitemaps for products, categories, blogs, and static pages
  • Cleaner segmentation
  • A foundation that scales with large catalogs

2. Out-of-Stock Visibility on PLP

Brand often want to show customers the full width of the catalogue – even when certain items are unavailable. We're introducing a configurable OOS visibility option.

Brands will be able to:

  • Display out-of-stock items with visual differentiation over PLP/Search
  • Increase 'notify me' intent capture

This small but strategic update gives more control over product discovery and catalog storytelling.

3. Gift Card — More Flexible, More Configurable

Gift Cards on KartmaX are getting a refreshed configuration experience with expanded options for creating and managing cards across countries and use cases.

The upgraded Gift Card engine will allow brands for:

  • Configure multiple amount types (fixed, custom, or hybrid)
  • Set minimum/maximum value limits
  • Enable or disable partial usage
  • Manage country-specific gift card variants
  • Add expiry rules based on business preferences

This upgrade gives more control over how gift cards are created, displayed, and redeemed – creating space for a wider range of gifting workflows in the future.

4. Draft Orders for International Customers

We're introducing a more streamlined way for brands to serve customers across borders.

The new Draft Order workflow will allows to create and share pre-configured orders that reflect region-specific pricing — without sending customers through the full checkout flow.

This is particularly useful for high-intent, high-AOV orders where manual assistance increases conversion.

5. MaX Checkout — Expanding to Shopify

MaX checkout - already powering KartmaX storefronts — is now being developed for Shopify merchants as well.

This rollout will enable Shopify stores to access the same:

  • Optimized flows
  • Performance-focused architecture
  • Modular configuration options

6. MaX Search - Advanced Search for KartmaX & Shopify

Search is evolving into a more intelligent discovery tool.

We're building a new version of Search that introduces:

  • Predictive autocomplete
  • Smarter ranking logic
  • Image-assisted search
  • Deep analytics around query patterns and search performance

This will be available for both KartmaX and Shopify stores, enabling cross-platform consistency for search-driven funnels.
