Introducing Country-wise Ranking on Kartmax
Kartmax now supports Country-wise Product Ranking, allowing brands to customize the products ranking for configured primary countries. This gives you more control over merchandising based on regional performance and preferences.
Setting Up Country-wise Ranking
1. Enable Country-wise Sort
- Navigate to your configuration settings.
- Enable the option: "Is country wise sort" under CMS > Site identity
2. Auto-Generated Rank Attributes
- Once enabled, for each active primary country (e.g., USA, UAE, Singapore), Kartmax will auto-create country-specific rank attributes: "rank_en_us, rank_en_sg, etc..."
- Make sure to mark "Is in sort" & "Is visible" > Yes
These attributes will be used to set product rankings for respective countries.
3. Make Rank Attributes Sortable & Visible
For each rank attribute:
- Set "is_in_sort"= Yes
- Set "is_visible" = Yes
This ensures that the country-wise ranks can be used for frontend sorting.
Adding Product Rankings
You can manage rankings either at an individual product level or category level:
Product-wise Ranking
- For all the countries that are enabled, corresponding rank attributes will be auto-created (e.g., 'rank_en_us', 'rank_en_ae', etc.)
- Fill the rank values in their respective columns for each product
- Clear the cache
Note: For any new product addition, country-wise rank attributes will need to be created manually for now. We're actively working on automating this step—updates coming soon!
Category-wise Ranking
- Go to Category > Click on View
- Click Export Rank CSV
- The exported file will include country-specific rank headers (e.g., 'rank_en_us')
- Fill in rank values for each product and re-upload the file
- Change the sort option to: Recommended
- (Optional) Set sort direction to: ASC or Desc under "Edit Category" option
- Don’t forget to clear the cache after re-upload

Once configured, your storefront will reflect country-specific ranking , improving the shopping experience for each market.
