Freebies Promotions

As the name suggests, a feature with which you can add a freebie to a cart based on the SKU or the value of the cart.

To add Freebies, go to “Promotions >> Cart Booster >> Freebie Item

Select Add from the right side of the page and fill up the form. On the bottom of the form, there is a condition button. After clicking on the Condition button you will see this:

How to Create a Freebie Promotion

1. Select Country

Choose the country where the freebie offer should be applicable.
This ensures geo-based control over promotions.


2. Types of Freebie Promotions

You get 2 ways to configure freebies:


A. Based on Group ID (Product-Level Freebie)

Use this when you want to attach a freebie with specific products.

Steps:

  • Enter the Group ID (mapped to products)
  • Define:
    • Date range (From / To)
    • Total usage limit
    • Max usage per customer
    • Status (Active/Inactive)
  • Add condition:
    • Based on SKU OR order price
  • Save

What this does:
Whenever a product from that group is added >> freebie gets auto-added.


B. Freebie as a Coupon (Cart-Level Freebie)

Use this when you want to trigger freebies based on cart value.

Steps:

  • Select Coupon option
  • Enter the SKU of the product you want to give as a freebie
  • Add cart value condition (minimum order price)
  • Configure usage limits and dates
  • Save

What this does:
When cart value meets the condition >> freebie SKU is added automatically.


Key Conditions You Can Configure

  • Based on SKUs
  • Based on Order Price (Min / Max in INR)
  • Restrict to non-discounted items
  • Control visibility (Display on site)

Final Step

Once everything is configured >> Click Save

Your freebie promotion is now live and will automatically apply based on defined rules.
